MEET OUR PRESIDENT!

Hi! I’m Allie Buszinski, and I am the Chapter President of the Beta Omega chapter of Alpha Phi. I am currently a senior at Kent State University where I’m majoring in Marketing and minoring in Economics. Prior to going through recruitment as a freshman, I had all kinds of preconceived notions about what it meant to be in a sorority, but Alpha Phi has shown me that the stereotypes don’t hold through.

I can honestly say that Alpha Phi has helped to shape me into the woman that I am today. This chapter has given me incredible leadership, community service, and professional opportunities. I have a support system of 170 women who are there for me through thick and thin, and I couldn’t be more grateful. These women constantly push me to be the best version of myself, and I think that’s something that everyone should have in their life.

If you had told me freshman year that I was going to be the president of a sorority, I would have thought that was crazy. Now, I couldn’t imagine my life any other way. I am so thankful that the women in my chapter have supported me and encouraged me to take on new opportunities that were outside of my comfort zone because it has made me a better woman. Going greek was one of the most positive and influential decisions that I have made in my life!
